Melissa Marselle


Melissa received her MSc with distinction honours in Environmental Psychology from the University of Surrey in 2004. Her dissertation was a qualitative and quantitative investigation into the psychological experience of a natural environment. Research interests include qualitative research methods, restorative environments and sustainable behaviour. She graduated cum laude from Oregon State University with a BA in psychology. There her research interests were more interdisciplinary, mainly with a focus on psychology, ethnic studies, and philosophy.

She is currently investigating the evacuation experiences and behaviours of the World Trade Centre 9/11 survivors with Professor Canter.

She is a member of the US national honour society of psychology and the International Association of People-environment Studies.
