Aline is currently concluding her PhD studies here at the Centre for Investigative Psychology after completing her Masters degree. She is the only Brazilian to have postgraduate degrees on this subject. She has undertaken research on Brazilian criminal behaviour, particularly on the psychological meaning of the criminal's weapon, collecting her data from various prisons in North East Brazil.
