Frustration-Aggression: An Action System Approach To The Classification Of Homicide. Theoretical Criminology


Abstract:
This study uses an action systems model to investigate whether homicidal behaviour can be understood as being the result of internal and external frustrations, expressed as either internal or external aggression. Furthermore, this study seeks to combine frustration-aggression theory with previous research that has shown the validity of classifying aggression as being either instrumental or expressive.
