Of the 25 respondents, 23 possessed a university undergraduate degree, one possessed A-levels and professional police qualifications, and one possessed no formal academic qualifications. Of the 23 respondents with undergraduate degrees, 13 were in pure psychology, 6 were related to psychology (i.e, criminology, psychology & law), and 4 were unrelated to psychology (i.e. biology).
Of the 25 respondents; 4 had forensic professional experience (i.e police psychologist, police officer); 12 had Investigative Psychology related placement experience (i.e. short-term placements such as research assistant); 4 had no Investigative Psychology related experience (i.e. claim dept. in Insurance company); and 5 came straight from academia with no relevant work experience.
Of the 25
respondents, 13 (52%) had GBR with the BPS, 11(44%) did not, and 1(4%)
did not know.
