2001-2002 Seminar Programme
A panel of Senior Police Officers, with a vast experience of criminal investigation, discuss the strategies and tactics that investigators apply to serious crime. The speakers use accounts of past cases in which they have been involved to illustrate the processes that they go through in major investigations. The day will provide the opportunity to explore questions about the way in which investigative decisions are made regarding, for example, the elicitation and prioritisation of suspects, particular problems which investigators can encounter, as well as the tools and systems that can be particularly useful during a case.
